CONFESSIONS OF A SHOPAHOLIC.............Review.

Confessions of a Shopaholic is a 2009 film adaptation of the Shopaholic series of novels by Sophie Kinsella. It is directed by P. J. Hogan and stars Isla Fisher as the central character, Rebecca Bloomwood, the shopaholic journalist.
Isla Fisher walks around with the mad gleam of a true believer. When Rebecca goes into a store, preferably of designer vintage, she's in her own yum-yum version of paradise. She wants — needs — to acquire dresses, shoes, belts, handbags. That fantastic diaphanous forest-green scarf? She simply must have it! Each of these things is a magical object that will upgrade her identity, making her over into something as gorgeous and perfect as the clothes themselves.
She believes that her life changes into a magical world after she wears something new and gives her a new identity, making the world seem beautiful.
It takes only a few scenes for Rebecca to learn that she has maxed out her credit cards, and when she lands a job at Successful Saving magazine to pay her debt.
Her 'Green Scarf Girl' article gets her fame and reaches soon to a TV interview.
Then the film goes through a series of hilarious events as well Derek Smith, the Debt collector trying to trace her and she making many more lies with all the people to stay away from one big lie.
Finally, the film has a amazing climax. Watch it and you shall love it.
People who hardly shop should stay away from this film or they will surely break the screen.Isla Fisher has never been so hilarious anytime before.
When i left the theater................. I realised there were hardly any guys for this film........... only the clip clop sounds of stilettos could be heard on the staircase of PVR and Girls chattering to add to it. My friend is said if she would have gone for this film with her Boyfriend then definitely he would have killed her. (ha ha.....)
