Paranormal Society

We call ourselves human and are living into groups so that we can be together, help and serve each other. So we have formed this Society and called ourselves Civilized.
There are many norms and rules made by so called 'Society', which underneath the sheet of communal betterment has led many lives to crush their identity into nothing less then non-living objects.
Here are few of the instances;

JOGTA/I- who Serve the god suffering their lives..
Jogta or a jogtini. They are forced by the society to give up everything and serve God. A jogta has to give up the fact of being a man and suppress all his desires. A jogtini is expected to give up herself, she cannot get married, have children or have a life of her own.A jogta is a man once chosen is stripped of his masculinity and has to dress and accessorize himself as a woman, let alone giving up on his physical needs and has no choice. If the jogta revolts, he is stripped of his masculinity physically.
This tradition was followed in the rural areas in the ancient times and like any tradition was flexible enough for those in power to misuse it as Jogtas and jogtis are treated as sex slaves and viewed with a mixture of semi-respect and disdain. It is known to be still followed in some villages in Karnataka, to please goddess Yellamma.

DOLPHIN HUNTING TO PROVE MASCULINITY.
. A total of 13,080 cetaceans were killed throughout Japan in 2007
very year, in Denmark, specifically the Faroe Islands, innocent and helpless Calderon Dolphins are slaughtered brutally by the Danes. Why you may ask, and the stupid answer is that its a ridiculous right of passage to manhood.
What points is there in killing another living being just to prove you have "evolved", you have transcended. There is simply no need.
This poor dolphins are stabbed a number of times, but as if that weren't enough, they bleed to death, probably in excruciating pain while the whole town watches.
Its so brutal that the coast line turns red with the blood.
Needles to say, that killing a defenseless animal is no prove of anybody's manhood.
Schools are also given holiday to watch out the hunting's, followed by celebration.

DEVDASI- worship the God being sex objects of men.
Devadasi originally described a Hindu religious practice in which girls were "married" and dedicated to a deity. In addition to taking care of the temple and performing rituals, they learned and practiced Bharatanatyam and other classical Indian arts traditions and enjoyed a high social status.

Following the demise of the great Hindu kingdoms the practice degenerated. Pressure from the British colonial reform movement led to suppression of the practice. Adherents of this movement considered devadasis immoral since they engaged in sex outside of the traditional concept of marriage, and described them as prostitutes.Since devdasis were left to God and temples, the high priest started exploiting them and women feared them. Also slowly people stated looking them with disgrace eventually forcing them into physical sex. As these Devadasis had no one to complain and grieve to, in this dreadful jungle called society, they left everything to fate by turning into prostitutes.
Though, Sati Act was passed in 1934, it is still been practiced under the black sky of this dark society.

WIDOW -endowed with burden
Widow is a woman whose spouse has died. But in India, widowhood isn't so simple.
Once the husband dies, it seems as if the life of woman has died.Though she is sad and lonely, the society will now look upon her with a lustful eye.
Though widow remarriage is legal, the act was passed in India after a long struggle in 1856.However, widows are considered unlucky in the traditional society. Widows face challenges of child support, finance, social stigma, security and remarriage.
Men will always look upon a widow, to someone who has no security and is helpless.
to society the life of a widow is meaningless. We may live in urban cities, but India is yet rural at its heart bound in such traditions.

WITCH HUNTING -beastly avatar of man

Many people might be unaware of this term, but if you are then its very sad, that we are still unintelligent or rather never made aware of such issue. Witch Hunting is a practised belived to be common in Europe in the 19th Century, where a woman doubted on a insane thought to be practicing sorcery, magic and having connections with Satan is killed brutally.
Witch Hunt is a barbarous practice, though sounds unbelievable yet is a part of rural India, where media never reaches and no wonder to note that the Government is snoring loud and busy sleeping .
But the crux is that for a man to label any woman a witch is very simple on meaningless grounds. in order to settle scores or even to punish her for turning down sexual advances. Cases have also come up where a strong-willed woman is targeted because she is assertive and is seen as a threat.
Most often rich lonely woman are targeted, so that their property and riches can be taken over.
In a majority of the cases, it is difficult for the accused woman to reach out for help and she is forced to either abandon her home and family, commit suicide or is brutally murdered.

The most recent publicized case in India spread international uproar was in October 2009 when five Muslim women were paraded naked, beaten and forced to eat human excrement by villagers after being branded as witches in India's Jharkhand state. The incident was only made public after a cellphone video surfaced of the event. Many national research agencies contend events such as these happen daily around the world, without any reports to the police out of fear of retribution.
We do live in barbaric times!

EUNUCH'S -Existing But not Living

Often people laugh at them, think of them to be weird creatures. All because we have been brought up in such a traditional closed society. Eunuch is a hermaphrodite or a person who basically looks like a half woman yet posses man sexual organs as well female. When they are born, they may be termed male or female. It's a creation of God, then how does the Society decides about being male or female. The universe, nature everything is filled with differences and unique in themselves. Eunuch are such like us. But are kept away from society and treated with disrespect.Once upon a time they were treated with respect and dignity in the Ramayana. Eunuchs were frequently employed in Imperial Indian palaces as servants for female royalty, and often attained high-status positions in Indian society in Muslim community and served the queens. But today they are begging on the streets, the government has no option for eunuch as a gender, and they have remained where they are because no one educated them. So has the Society evolved or rather Deteriorated?

A heart wrenching incidents exposes the hypocrisies and exploitations of an oppressed society harrowed by archaic traditions and plagued by superstitions in our society. Can we call this Society evolved, civilized, progressed? It isn't anyone to blame. But to blame those rich's and high class people who manipulated the religious text according to their benefit. Traditions are made and not come from the divine. We fail to recognize Traditions as man-made and consider them divine or religious. And why educated people like us are also quiet? Education should liberate one from bondage, this is because no one thinks of this issues seriously only because they are not a part of it, but not to forget you live in a society which you're a part of, and so are all these issues and hundred other false traditions.
Traditions Causes bondage,Religion binds, but Spirituality liberates.

"How can we call one a human, if it lack's humanity"

Don't look for Good..............Create Good

When things are going wrong, when relation aren't working, when times are sad, and then everything seems ruined. All what we wonder is "why me" why are there so many problems in my life? Why is the world so bad? and we feel bad about ourselves and everything around. You might curse others, blame yourself,.......... and then drive in to the darkness of dead-past.
So wherever you see, you find misery, broken images, death and unhappiness. You question about God's presence?.............. and is left with no answer.
But the secret is that the truth lies within you. This mind, body and soul is an instrument to serve the godhood.
Don't try to look for good, Don't search happiness, because it isn't an object hidden in the chest rather a state of mind.
Don't look for good, but create good. Create good by listening to a lonely, sharing with someone helpless, talking to someone who needs hope,by helping a needy, spreading goodwill and making relations work out for betterment.
Go around, spread goodwill, share a smile and create something good, so that Goodness brings Happiness.

LOVE AND SACRIFICE

When it comes to Love................. there are other elements which follow it. These are compromises, Sacrifices, Adjustment, to keep the relationship alive. Two people are never the same in their thought patterns, nor in their behaviour. But when a problem arises, how do they solve it.
Love....... isn't so easy, it test you time and time again to realize it's worth and wonder if one deserves it.
Today in these complicated relationships, one even finds it difficult to answer his/her relationship status.
Whether they are attracted to some one, or they like someone, or may be they are in love, or many be they have just realized their differences, or may be there are misunderstandings, or may be they just want to mutually apart, Or is it that the 'Ex' is back in life again, may be they are double dating, what if its multi-dating?
Such a Confusion!!!!!!!
However, in a relationship 'who is the one who makes most sacrifice?' Most often we believe it's the girl who makes most adjustments but after marriage the boy sacrifices most, being a hubby.
Love and the sacrifices can never be judged on gender basis, Because love is universal in itself.
However, in this present era, Love is nothing more then a need or want to escape from Loneliness. Love is selfless, but now its selfish.
And when people are so selfish, who will sacrifice then?
Some time back, when relationships and Love wasn't so open and publicized. People were happy with their love not because they got what they aspired for but they accepted their love with full grace and made it their love of life, by being selfless. Even if a sacrifice was made by anyone of the partner it was made out of love for love, so in no way seemed like a sacrifice.Love wasn't a market place that time, which is today when it comes to streets of cosmopolitan cities.
But today, when it comes to adjustment........... may be the girl will do a few or the guy...... but after a point they wonder why do I need to always 'Compromise?'
This is the 'Point of EDGES'..........
Soon after things fall apart, lovers fight, then ignore each other and finally they stop communicating leaving love halfway at an unknown directionless path.
One has to make compromise as well adjust to make the relationships cart move swiftly, but it isn't about one wheel, its both of the wheels that makes the cart runs. Similarly, how long can only one adjust even the other has to help, compromise and adjust out of Love for Love.

Wake Up Sid.........a new treatment, well written, and fine actors.

It was the film i never wanted to watch, but finally after the fil was a month old i seen it. As I thought, it would be the same old boring story where a a rich dad's son is lazy and living life lavishly but meaninglessly, until a girl comes (Konkana Sen) who shows him the true side of life and transform his thoughts. But I was wrong, and the film turned out to be loosely based on what I said but with a whole new treatment that changed the story of film. wake Up Sid, is a family story where a good for nothing son leave's home to find his identity. Konkana shares her flat with him.Konkana has a crush on her boss, as she wants someone honest, well mannered, gentleman, intelligent and most importantly independent.
Eventually, however, Sid's bad habits revive themselves as he leaves her place a mess and makes the kind of demands on her that he is used to making on everyone. When she finds he has not eaten all day, Konkana is amused by the fact that Sid cannot cook and does not know how to feed himself. Over time however, Sid learns that to survive in the world he has to begin cooking and cleaning. He has also realized he must work and Konkana helps him become a photography intern at the magazine she works for.
The film shows the emotions of the mother and Sid, in such circumstances. In mean time, Konkana realises that her boss isn't what she is looking for. Finally, afterwards Dad calls Sid home, when Konkana actually discovers love for Sid. But she doesn't say anything as he is going back to his home. The departure is hostile. Then konkana writes an article 'New girl in Mumbai' where she pen downs her feelings about life and Sid. That latest issue is read by Sid, and runs to meet her.
The film is about their growing friendship, only the hostile departure makes them realize that the friendship had grown into Love.

WHATS YOUR RASHEE.........Engaging,thoughtful,serene n vivacious over all perfectly entetaining Rom-com

I was desperately waiting for this film, as was eager to see Priyanka playing 12 different roles and most importantly, it being a film by Asutosh Gowariker.
So it was a first day, first show @ Globus. The film had an amazing start of Priyanka displaying the Twelve Zodiac signs. The film became interesting with each different character of Priyanka, and in no way they were similar.Harman suited the character well, no wonder he was chosen by the Artistic vision of Ashutosh. Though the film is about 3 hours and 2o mins, it doesn't seem so long.Whats your Rashee? keeps you engaged throughout the film with its characters, and many but beautiful short songs. There is nothing superstitious about the film, infact it is just the mindset of the actor and people. Ashutosh as always has touched social issues in his movies and kept his mark here too. Where the film deals with certain issues like dowry and Child marriage. The characters that i loved the most were Hansa- the cancerian, a graduate in English Literature, who still isn't been able to cope up with her past, since been ditched by her neighbour whom she loved the most.
And Pooja- truly a Virgo like me, who are Romantic, Career oriented yet live all their life listening to their heart. Emotions and relations are her priority.
Though the film did not do well, nor Indian critics appreciated it, I guess it was just a propaganda to put the film down. Infact, it was the closing film for 'Toronto film Festival' and got a standing Applause.

Little Zizou............funfilled,dynamic,weird but smart.

Another great film from Mirabai Productions is Sooni Taraporewala's LITTLE ZIZOU.
This film peeps into the lives of the conservative Parsee community, dealing with two families.Little Zizou is a fast-paced, exuberant, yet poignant comedy about how two battling Mumbai families finally come to terms. 'Little Zizou' is an eleven year old soccer-mad Parsi boy whose fervent wish is that his idol, French soccer player Zinedine Zidane visit Mumbai. His older brother Ataxerxes, is a talented artist whose wild fantasies come to life in surprising ways and wants to make a Supersonic Plne. Their father Khodaiji is a self-proclaimed protector-of-the-faith.
Ataxarxes burns with unrequited love for the daughter of Khodaiji's arch rival, Pressvala, a free thinking newspaper publisher. And to the extreme displeasure of their other daughter, Xerxes and Zizou adores the maternal Mrs Pressvala. But the real fireworks begin when Pressvala writes a scathing critique of Khodaiji and public reaction is widespread. As the two households fight, life becomes difficult.

THREE IDIOTS.....Sensitive,powerful dialogues, great perfomances, and well scripted

A very well directed film by Rajkumar Hirani, which could be seen by the masses and even send a meaningful message. Since its based on the Educational Pattern, students could well connect with it. Some Scenes are very sensitive, like the one when Joe Lobo- an intelligent student commits suicide by the mental pressure and discouraging words. And its the best scene too. Also the 'Baby Delivery' scene is fantastically shot, with keeping the audience on edge of their seats. Aamir Khan, no wonder gives his best performance again, being a bit old yet does justice to this college student character. Sharman and Madhvan also have done a commendable job. And 'Virus' played by Booman Irani will surely bring him many awards this year. The songs touch your heart, by its lyrics. Especially "Give me some sunshine". This film is definitely going to build up a positive attitude towards life in people's mind and make the path clearer towards their Goal.

JAIL............bold and courageous

Again a great film from the master of realistic cinema Madhur Bhandarkar. An innocent guy lands up in Jail for Drug case, and finds no escape from the deteriorating life of Jail. The film's narration is done excellently by Manoj Bajpayee, who has seen many people coming in jail and been changed into much more worse than what they were. However, He see's Neil's (victims) eye and finds him innocent. After a long struggle of pain, hardship, strange people, fights, loneliness, Neil tries to build a relationship with the Jail rather the Jail binds people into a relation. Mughda Godse plays a completely de-glamorous role of an air hostess and his girlfriend, who is all courageously making attempts with the law and court to save him.But until the end all attempts are futile, when the entry of new lawyer 'Atul Kulkarni' changes the course of the film where the audience feels relieved. Since in the whole film Neil is been tortured with third degree, Stripped Naked, and much more violent scenes. The film could have been much more realistic and a trend setting one if the censor board hadn't deleted it's six scenes.
This film gives you an insight about the real happenings of a Jail, and law procedures.

TUM MILE.................

Another Romantic film from the Bhatts camp, with the backdrop of 26th July, Floods of Mumbai. Though the film was called a film of Disaster, it isn't anything like that. Tum Mile is an amazing poetic composition of love found and lost, shot in beautiful locations, with realistic emotions that a couple goes through. Imraan- a emotional artist and Soha- a practical woman, had met in South Africa, fell in Love, but with time, complications entered life, differences among them increased and finally they got separated. The pain of separation was intense, and then everyday of their life, their past brings a smile on their face and makes they cry too. After four years, both are on the same flight to Mumbai, and when they realize it, they can't even talk, or they want to..........
When the flight lands Mumbai, its the 26th July,,,,,,,,,, when Mumbai was washed in the rains of pain and agony. Soha gets stuck up in the rain, and Imraan goes searching for her on the streets of Lower Parel.
The film's last minute is very touching, when Imraan leaves her home, and Soha closes the door. But then loneliness and pain of separation again hurts them, so she opens the door and finds Imraan weeping outside, and they hug each other tightly.
People who can't digest a bit high dose of Romance will condemn the film until they drop, so watch it only if you love "LOVE"

AVATAR................Review

The most anticipated film from Hollywood 'Avatar'. Overall it being a 3-D, people couln't miss it, based on a sci-fi subject of "creatures from another planet'. I seen the morning 9-30am, show at PVR, and yet the theater was full on a Friday, being the First day.The crowd itself had built an energetic atmosphere before the film. With 3-D glasses the film, looked much more real as if were in Pandora itself. The film is set in the year 2154 on Pandora, a moon in the Alpha Centauri star system. Humans are engaged in mining Pandora's reserves of a precious mineral, called unobtanium, while the Na'vi, a race of indigenous humanoids, resist the colonists' expansion, which threatens the continued existence of the Na'vi and the Pandoran ecosystem. Concepts like Bio-diversity, Bio- Botanical Nueral Ntework, Omaticaya Tribes, Tree of voices, Tree of souls and Ewya- the tribal goddess is very well explained in the film. The sets of film are beyond a comman man's imagination. The Scene of invoking the Goddess, below the tree of voices is extremely stunning, that leaves with a mark of surprise and fascination.
I can't write the story nor the plot, because to need to understand this film one needs to watch it with concentration for a period of three hours- strange for American films, but a revolutionary landmark in the world of cinema.

THE PROPOSAL...........Review

The Proposal is a 2009 American romantic comedy film, directed by Anne Fletcher, starring Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds. Sandra Bullock is the shrew, Margaret, a pitiless, high-powered New York book editor first seen multitasking in the midst of her aerobic workout (thus you know she needs to get...loved). Ryan Reynolds is Andrew, her put-upon foil of an executive assistant, a younger man who accepts abuse as a media-industry hazing ritual. And there the two would remain, locked in mutual disdain. Margaret, with her visa expired, faces deportation and makes the snap
executive decision to marry Andrew in a green-card wedding. It's an offer the underling can't refuse if he wants to keep his job. Okay, he says. But first comes a visit to the groom-to-be's family in Alaska. Amusing complications ensue.
The chemistry between Bullock and Reynolds is fresh and irresistible. she's lovable both as an uptight careerist in a pencil skirt and stilettos, and as a lonely lady in a flapping plaid bathrobe. Reynold is definitely hot in the film, and the surprising nude scene comes as a comic cherishing treat.
I can watch this film again and again.............

2012........... Review

A film that one should never miss, is 2012. The film is a visual treat, and keeps you engaged through out the doomsday. The film is based on the Mesoamerican Long Count calendar devised by the Mayan civilization, which ends in 2012. So on this Judgement Day, an ensemble cast of characters narrowly escape multiple catastrophes in an effort to reach ships in the Himalayas, along with scientists and governments of the world who are attempting to save as many lives as they can before the disasters ensue.
The scenes are powerful and sensitive, Ranging from Los Angeles falling into the Pacific Ocean, the eruption of the Yellowstone National Park caldera, cataclysmic earthquakes wreaking havoc around the globe, and Megatsunamis surging across the Earth.
Woody Harrelson as Charlie Frost is a conspiracy theorist disguised as Yellowstone hermit who prophesies the end of the world and is considered crazy by others has given one of the finest performances.
There are heart warming attempts made by Jack Curtis to save his family, and the emotions that a family goes through in such a situation are very sensitive, and sure enough to make your eyes moist.

The visual effects are mind blowing and will make you hair stand on its end.

CONFESSIONS OF A SHOPAHOLIC.............Review.

Confessions of a Shopaholic is a 2009 film adaptation of the Shopaholic series of novels by Sophie Kinsella. It is directed by P. J. Hogan and stars Isla Fisher as the central character, Rebecca Bloomwood, the shopaholic journalist.
Isla Fisher walks around with the mad gleam of a true believer. When Rebecca goes into a store, preferably of designer vintage, she's in her own yum-yum version of paradise. She wants — needs — to acquire dresses, shoes, belts, handbags. That fantastic diaphanous forest-green scarf? She simply must have it! Each of these things is a magical object that will upgrade her identity, making her over into something as gorgeous and perfect as the clothes themselves.
She believes that her life changes into a magical world after she wears something new and gives her a new identity, making the world seem beautiful.
It takes only a few scenes for Rebecca to learn that she has maxed out her credit cards, and when she lands a job at Successful Saving magazine to pay her debt.
Her 'Green Scarf Girl' article gets her fame and reaches soon to a TV interview.
Then the film goes through a series of hilarious events as well Derek Smith, the Debt collector trying to trace her and she making many more lies with all the people to stay away from one big lie.
Finally, the film has a amazing climax. Watch it and you shall love it.
People who hardly shop should stay away from this film or they will surely break the screen.Isla Fisher has never been so hilarious anytime before.
When i left the theater................. I realised there were hardly any guys for this film........... only the clip clop sounds of stilettos could be heard on the staircase of PVR and Girls chattering to add to it. My friend is said if she would have gone for this film with her Boyfriend then definitely he would have killed her. (ha ha.....)

ANGELS AND DEMON'S .......................Review

Angels & Demons is a adaptation of Dan Brown's novel by the same name. It is the sequel to The Da Vinci Code,
The threat of disaster after the Pope's death prompts the Vatican to call upon the services of Harvard symbologist Robert Langdon (Tom Hanks). Four possible successors have been kidnapped and a destructive weapon has been stolen and hidden somewhere in Vatican City. With the implied return of old Catholic Church adversary The Illuminati, Langdon and physicist Vittoria Vetra , who helped develop the missing weapon, must unravel the clues before it's too late. Besides theovel, "Angels & Demons" is loaded wit impeccable Tom Hanks and the beautiful Ayelet Zurer. Ewan McGregor, is temporarily in charge until a new Pope is named. Armin Mueller-Stahl as Cardinal Strauss, has his eyes on the Papal throne. There are many puzzles to solve before arriving at a calm conclusion yet surprising.
If looked from ethical point of view the film seeks to search the Angel as well Demon within you than looking for it outside.
Its an intelligent film, packet with a mystery, action, and super fantastic photography set in the scenic Rome and Vatican City.

TWILIGHT............ Review

Twilight is a 2008 romantic-fantasy film. It is the first film in The Twilight Saga film series, directed by Catherine Hardwicke and based on the novel of the same name by Stephenie Meyer.
Twilight is about a personal relationship between Bella Swan, who plays a quiet teenager (Kristen Stewart) and vampire Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson).
Robert PatTinson is a vampire, who never seems to grow old and is been repeatedly going to high school, being 17, all the time. Robert Pattinson is indeed hot in the film, and charms you with his looks and behaviour, that one desires for such a mystical love.Bella finds something strange about this guy, who once saves her from a bus accident by stopping the bus with his hand. Bella goes to look out for the mystery, and gets involved with him. Both fall in love with each other, and he shows her the truth of him being a vampire. Bella is not really surprised and loves him for the way he is.Robert introduces Bella to his family, and all of them try to save her from the other group of hostile vampires who feed on Human flesh and want to kill Bella.
The films music is serene and calm. Also the photography is excellent with the scenes that look like a painted canvas.
Though there are vampires, the film isn't about eating flesh and drinking blood, but about the emotions and relation of a human and vampire. So hardcore people stay away from it.

Realize your Dreams

Why are afraid of new concepts and thoughts? Why do we restrict ourselves to stick the old one's? Why do we hesitate to experiment?
We are more often afraid of what others will think before we do something. We may be fine with it, but think about people's thoughts. These people will talk even if you do something good or bad. You may die one day, but their talks will never die.
So forget thinking about people and think about yourself first. Something might seem crazy to the world but if you want to try it, go ahead with it. This universe needs what you want to give, and that is why we are here. Share your inner talent, if you don't know, recognize it, and most importantly harness it. Value the gift and you shall shine. Or else the gift is a waste and you're weak.

Don't be afraid to open up,nothing will go wrong if you listen to your inner voice. And at times if you're mistaken, they are the biggest lessons life teaches you by it's unique experience.
Life is an adventure, unless you risk yourself, you shall never realize what lies ahead and the excitement of this amazing journey.
Don't fear, break the cage of conditions and limitations. Come out with confidence, realize that you have wings, open, rise and fly. Expand your wings to reach new horizons exploring new avenues of life.

Fly................. reach new horizons............ Realize your dreams

City of millions............yet Lonely

Mumbai being the most happening city in this world, yet haunts many lives. A city which never sleeps, yet there are many entangled with their emotions and can't sleep. Its a city where every nook and corner you will find crowd, but in that crowd many of them would be still alone. So 'crowd' is just a term to define the collection of people. And lonely hearts crying to be with someone in that crowd.
A person wonders, why he/she cant be where the other person is.Each one doesn't have control over their lives, and yet struggle to make it better ending up lonely. Finally one realizes there is no place to go and no one to speak to.This is when one knows the meaning of Loneliness.
So why is that being in crowd yet you are alone? Simply because the meaning of human relations is changed to materialism from humanism in the web of urban relations.
Though this city gives you a lot, it takes from you more than it can give. This Economical Capital, has made the gap wider between people, and shows the differences more then the similarities. Even Friendship, is no more that friendly. Relatives, are not that relatively close. The God in Temple isn't Godly. And finally Love isn't Lovely.
Relationships have lost their identity and its significance, transforming into white clouds, which never rain. Relations have slept under the roof on the beds. Try to find a meaning in such relations and you would find it hostile.
Relationships have lost their importance, in this fight for the survival of the fittest. Like Plastic Friends, Relatives, and Love everything is turned Plastic. Beautiful from outside, seems to be useful but finally is menace. Its destruction is terrible.Similarly, Each relation leaves a wound, that takes time to heal, until then u hurt again and again. Finally, You're left with broken heart and wounds.
LIFE IS BECOME PLASTICIZED, SEEMS BEAUTIFUL, HAS UTILITY BUT THEN FUTILE.
Everyone is incomplete as if he is somewhere in halves.
Friends are no more Friendly, Relatives are no more caring and Love isn't loving. Do you realize this city has boosted material wealth, but within our relations, we have gone much more down. Values and Ethics have faded out from People's life. God is just a Psychological belief. Parents are termed Hitler, and unimportant. Friends are important, but are ditched by them often.Relatives, relations, everything is crushed to dust. It's for Namesake, and we are aware of it.Love and Lust has got no difference, and drives one crazy.
Humans have almost extinct. It just flesh and blood wrapped in colorful drape, accessorized with paper notes, considered to be wealth.

So in such crowd, there is no one to speak to, no one to listen to, No one to share with, No one to be with, No place to go to................ seems like human species are on verge of extinction in mega cities.

But I know one thing,
"There is no one who can insult you, or hurt you with out Your permission,
No one can put you down without you being down,
No one has a right to talk about you if you don't let the person talk about it.
And there is someone who knows you better,
cares for you,
loves you and most importantly understands you.
Just look into the mirror and you will find that person"

My Favourite Films of 2009

Though astrologically 2009 was among the top worst years, to me it was quite nice in all the aspects, I mean not as bad as worst. Infact it was a good year for spiritual growth and for material growth it was a definite "No".
However, 2009 has given many good films on diverse subjects. Not just from Hollywood or Hindi Films but also by the Regional films.Infact, 2009 is the year where I have seen the maximum films in the theater till now. So definitely, there were such great stories that catered me to the cinema hall.
To start with;

Three idiots-
A very well directed film by Rajkumar Hirani, which could be seen by the masses and even send a meaningful message. Since its based on the Educational Pattern, students could well connect with it.Aamir,Shraman, Madhvan and kareena, all have justified their characters. This film is definitely going to build up a positive attitude towards life in people's mind and make the path clearer towards their Goal.

Little Zizou-
Another great film from Mirabai Productions is Sooni Taraporewala's LITTLE ZIZOU.
This film peeps into the lives of the conservative Parsee community, dealing with two families.Little Zizou is a fast-paced, exuberant, yet poignant comedy about how two battling Mumbai families finally come to terms.

Whats Your Rashee?
This film should chart among the great films.A film that runs three and a half hour, with about a dozen of songs, yet keeps you engaged in every scene.Songs are well picturised with music that's different.Priyanka's role is a dream role and is beyond thoughts, she has come out as a versatile actress. No wonder gets it recorded in Guinness World book of Records.

Wake Up Sid
A whole new treatment of this film makes a must watch, with emotions being so real. A urban tale of a lazy guy, which finds meaning after a series of changes. Very well scripted, and enacted.

JAIL
Again a great film from the master of realistic cinema Madhur Bhandarkar. An innocent guy lands up in Jail for Drug case, and finds no escape from the deteriorating life of Jail.
This film gives you an insight about the real happenings of a Jail, and law procedures.Powerful performances and something very new to watch for

TUM MILE
Tum Mile is an amazing poetic composition of love found and lost, shot in beautiful locations, with realistic emotions that a couple goes through.
Chemistry, Emotions and characters are worth watching.

Sometimes God calls you..............

Its Lords Ganesh's Birthday, today. Till today I have never been to the temple of this elephant headed God on such a auspicious day. Infact, I had never thought I can ever do it in my life. But the divine has his own plans and we all live according to it. He creates situation, but has given us mind to react to it, with the way we want to. He may call us, but we turn a deaf ear to it. The divine might be in front of us, yet we fail to notice him as divine.
My friend asked me to come at 'Titwala'- its a energetic temple of great Lord Siddhivinayak (Ganesha)just an hour before Kasara.I made an excuse by saying that I have classes and cant make it. So evening he calls me to ask "If we can go at night 12am, after taking a bath and reach there for veneration early in morning around 3am.
Sounded strange, but I agreed to it. No wonder I'm a quick decission maker. But isn't about decission, its about intuition. It's a God's call, and I don't want to act lazy but not going and sleeping at home.
Finally, we took a 12-30am train from Dadar, reached by 2am. We walked upto the temple from the station in the dark night, which actually wasn't dark, as it was filled with blissful energy. There were many people walking the same path.
To me it was Romantic, walking the road , with dim street lights, cold breeze blowing by, under the twinkling night.
Not that Romance, But a love for yourself. We stood in the line at 3am, and the temple was opened by 4am.It was a new and different morning. By 5am we were done with it, and left from there. It was indeed cold in the morning and a dumb person switched on the fans, however thanks to our crowded Mumbai locals. Since, been seated with two people on both sides and surrounded by so many office goers, I guess there was no chance for temperature in the train to go down. How nice?
By 8 am, I was home. Yes, it was surprising for me, my parents also. This is because I had thought we would spend time there outside the temple with the nature. Ofcourse, nothing like that happened. Yet it was great.

If I had said "No" I would have regretted it. So nothing was planned, But it was the God's plan.

So when God calls there is no need to think about anything, just blindly go with the directions and your care would be taken.
So effortless...................

Taking Grandpa for a film

I always wanted to take my grand pa for a film with me. But I was always scared of many things. Firstly, is there a movie of his type, will he like these generation films, that also in a theater. In PVR there isn't Staircase, will he be fine with the Three escalators? This was when I was going for 'Avatar' but since it was 3-D, i thought that might give him headache. So went with friends.
Finally after a month, I had to spend hours to convince him to come with me. I asked my mom to force him, Finally I called up my Aunt at Nashik to convince him to come.As it is I was going to take him by hook or crook. Because I know its Now Or Never. We always want to do many things in life, but at the same time, take time for granted and believe we can do it later, but often its late then.
Eventually he agreed to come with me. I had removed Tickets for a Marathi film, I hardly see Marathi films, but this one was a recommendation from one of my student and I found the Title strange "Shikshanacha Aicha Gho" . And Often I like strange things. I also asked one of my other friend to join me at theater.
Luckily, the film was at the closest theater to my home, a walk of 7 minutes.
So we left for the show, my neighbors wondered where am I going with my grandpa or where grandpa is going and for heavens with a deadly character like me? After fourteen years, we both were going to see a film together.
On the way I wondered, if the film isn't nice, my grandpa will surely never come with me again, but at the same time I believed it to be a good film.
The film was sensitive, could make a tear roll down your cheek and make you smile too. A film based on the weird Education System of India, and how students bear the burden of it. A great film to challenge the Educational system and thought provoking to parents.I loved it, so did my grand pa.
We always go for films and dinner with our friends. But with time I have realized that our parents, family whom we always take for granted are the ones who have always been with us in our worst times. They have supported us and bore our tantrums.
Yet we hardly spend quality time with them.
It's just a film, but taking grandpa, makes it special and memorable. It gives him immense happiness and joy to me.These are small acts of Love, not always necessary to show it but if you can, then why not.
Make your closed ones realize that they are special.
After that you realize, how special it is. If it wasn't I wouldn't be writing a blog for such a simple topic. Its become Special now.

Dying to live.........

When you are a small child, always elders will tell you not to do this, not to do that. Until you have nothing to do, you want to play carom and siblings say "Grow up, when you become like us you can play" So a child wonders if he could be in Secondary School.
When you're in School, you are frustrated with your studies and uniform. Then you crave to go to college soon. So that you could wear fashionable clothes, carry a stylish bag and walk with pride.
Then when you are in college you miss your school days, you realize those were so priceless and actually stress free. Now you free and no one is stopping you. So you soon want to earn money to spend it lavishly.Hence, you pick up a job, rather the job picks you.
When you're in office working, you envy the love in others life and you are dying to settle down with some one special.
Finally, you get married and feel relaxed rather realize that life is still not stress free. Initially you love these new chapters of Marriage, but then seem to be bored with it. So now you wish to have children.
You finally have your own children, Now you are tense about their studies and health. Overall you are bothered about your future, and wonder whats wrong with your child's generation?
Eventually, you are on the death bed, that when you realize "THE WHOLE LIFE TIME YOU WERE DYING FOR YOUR FUTURE EVERY MOMENT, AND NOW YOU WANT TO ACTUALLY LIVE WHEN YOU ARE FINALLY DYING"

ENJOY EVERY MOMENT OF LIFE, ITS SPECIAL AND WILL NEVER COM BACK.
THE PRESENT IS INEVITABLE.

When love enters does friendship exits?

I had always thought 'That does Love affect friendship?' I never thought and believed in it, but its most often with time we learn things. As time is the best teacher, and it gives you the best experience, which is the best lesson. so I'm writing this blog.
Its true that Love is great, but how can love be great if it hampers another relation like friendship. For instance, If two people are great friends, they do things together, always accompany each other, share things with each other. But one day, one of them falls in love with someone else, obviously she will discuss all this with her friend. Then the love deepens, and moves ahead, with passing time.
She tells his friend , everything about her love. Her friend might feel that, she now a days just talk endlessly about him. She is moving away, somewhere their friendship seems tested. But the friend is happy for her, after all she has met her love of life.
The friend isn't jealous, but she has moved a bit away. She no more replies Sms's consistently. Her phone is often busy, as she talks with her love. And she never makes a point to get back to her friend.
Most importantly, the friend is hurt because now, she accompanies him sometimes. Before the love chapter, she always accompanied the friend. So the friend is alone at times. Wherever she goes, her love is there. And when he isn't there, the friend is there to accompany her.
So their friendship bond is shaken, loosen, not on purpose. Friend is walking the same path But someone else has moved on to the other side of path, with love, enjoying the edge thus widening the gap of friendship.
So when love comes in from the door, friendship moves out from the window.A bitter truth.
Its not a necessary scenario, but happens the most.
"Slowly, slowly, she forgets talking to her friends,
And when she sees her love, she tends to forget her friends"
Friendship is also a friendly love, but in search of dream mate, friendship takes a back seat.

St Michael the Archangel .............. & the Teachers .......Wise Angels

Today when I ask myself what do I miss the most in life, I simply say "My school and My dear Teachers"
The time spent in school is priceless, Over such a span of time I have seen many great things in life but nothing that can be compared to my school.
Its actually strange and difficult for anyone to believe that 'I miss my teachers every singe day of life'.
So Whats so special about a teacher?
A teacher is a temple of knowledge, creative, well mannered, honest, dedicated towards her work, responsible, and someone who understands me.
Teachers not only teach whats in the textbook but takes us to a virtual tour of the world by opening our minds. Teachers don't only teach textbook lessons, but also teaches values to make the student also a characterful person.
I might have forgotten the formulas and dates but I can never forget the love and respect we had for our teachers. I can never forget how they made classes interesting, how they cared and understood us. They were and are still my ideal.
Today, whatever I'm, whatever good I'm able to do, its only the efforts of some special teachers. Its these special people, because of whom I could learn the ethics, be strong, confident and fearless.
Some teachers are so special to me that I could only see them as Angels sent by god to guide me on the right path. I'm not exaggerating it, but some teachers are truly Angels to me, who have opened magic windows.
When i think of my special teachers.......................
One might wonder what are these special teachers! Its not that all teachers are not special, but a teacher may become one students favourite, but might be hated by other student. So all teachers are special, but there are some, who touch some students heart. In this way I have some dear teachers who have occupied a place in my heart as special beings.

And how do students decide who is their favourite Teacher?
Every child is uniquie in himself, bestowed with certain hidden gifts and talents. The teacher which brings out this gifts and let the child use his skills in varied ways, makes a place in the childs heart. Also the teacher, isn't just a classroom teacher but more than a friend.Because even when the student is out of class, he/she misses the teacher. What else can be rewarding!
I don't know if my other batch mates or other people also miss their teachers so much. But for me they are really special, and therefore I can see that after moving in life ahead I haven't met anyone as great as them. They are my Angels............. and im happy to be surrounded by such special people. No wonder I miss them.

Some great Teachers of our school are Miss Wyomia, Miss Rohana, Miss Lynette, Miss Lalita, Miss Carol, Miss Monika, Miss Precila, Sir John, Sir Sharma, Sir Aatlay and Sir Thomas.

And the great person, our Principal, Miss Thelma. At school times I admired her as our Principal, But when today I'm out of the School I can only say that ''she is a rare personality and she was the only one who could run St Michael's well''

This blog is dedicated to all loving teachers. I don't think today's students admire School teachers the way we did, its a bit sad to know that.
I wish people could love and respect educators, again.

Aren't women happier than man?

According to a recent study, women get more happiness in life then men. So whats the secret behind this? Why women cant stop smiling and men can't smile. Its true that happiness is not gender based, but the traits and qualities that women posses are absent in men making them vulnerable to happiness in life.
So women are happier because, Men are more selfish and serious. They often want to pursue goals higher than their reach. They always want to be supreme and high above the all. They want other men to envy their wealth and life.
So in such a way, Men make their life serious forgetting the smaller joys th
at they find in their life considering it to be frivolous.
On the other hand, women are more responsible and try to adjust with situations. Women don't often want big things full of glory in life, even if they want they don't desperately crave for it like men.
Overall, women always try to find happiness in the smallest things of life. Women often like simplest things like candles lit at home, flowers, a simple pendant from the street but beautiful, or just a hairstyle. But men would never appreciate such simple things, in fact it might seem ridiculous to them. Men love cars, bikes, homes, sports and if its simple then a very expensive watch. So men look for bigger happiness in life, and women for simpler happiness.
And this little, small pleasures accounts for abundant happiness.
Women are also taught or rather have learn't the art of sacrifice from childhood. Women always keeps their goals in limit and even if they cant get what they want, they adjust with it. But often men are stubborn and cant sacrifice or adjust soon, so become frustrated. Also men try to control the situation, which is never possible. Situations are never in hand, women are aware of it and often accept situation and life as it is. Trying to control life and situation by men leads to confusion and irriatation.

So women are sensitive, more tolerant, accept life and situation as it is and adjust with it.

Now, Aren't women are happier than man!

So whats God............??????????

whenever we have a question, we simply Google it to get the answer.
But some questions cannot be answered by Google, "What is God?" And therefore we believe in God........ whom we look as the supreme father.
From when we are born, we are been look and cared by someone. First our mother, father, siblings and teachers. We were always dependent on our parents and when we grow up.................. when finally there is no one to take our care. We submit ourselves to the will of Universal Laws, whom we believe to be God. Since God is everything we attribute him with omnipotent, omnipresent and everlasting.
So many religions, and so many different Gods. So who is God actually?
A Catholic may say "Jesus is god" or "The son of God", So what about Virgin Mary, Perpetual Succor and others?
A Muslim says "Allah is god," but Muslim itself is a religion propagated by Prophet Mohammed, who himself was inspired by the Jew and Pagan ideas around 1400 years.
Hinduism itself is so complicated, that it believes in 33 million deities. That makes seeking God in each and everything.
Buddhism and Jainism, don't believe in God.
So is this world just an accident of Science? No miracles and not a God involved in it? We all know its not true.
To know Whats god? links us to many other questions. If there is no God are we born to eat and die. Isn't there a purpose to life? Whats the soul? Doest it manifest? Do we reincarnate? If we don't, what happens to us after we die? Does heaven and hell really exist? Well if it does, then obviously God must be the judge? But then a world with so many different religions, races and traditions, then Who is God?
Our answer still remains unanswered.................... But i have my perception of what is God in this completely confusing world.
Though there is vast differences in people around the world, they have something common in them.
They are all humans and love to be loved. They all believe in some power as God, they don't think themselves to be supreme, they know some one is watching right above them. Their Religion Speaks about Kindness and Mercy. They all want to live happily together. They all love the light, the day, the knowledge. They all are seeking the truth. They all want Peace.
So many common traits in all together different people from the world. So does each religion has the same meaning, the same content and finally the same God.
Each one believes their religion to be great and supreme. Its true each religion is great and supreme but not over the other. All religions are equally the same with fascinating Essence.
. Spirituality is the search of eternal truth, keeping aside religious rules. Religion is like banana, each ones claim holding on to the skin that their religion (banana's skin) is greatest, but they fail to peel the skin and see inside that the fruit inside is the same. Its the sweet fruit of eternal truth, boundless love and everlasting peace, That's Spirituality. People are holding on to skin and have forgotten the fruit of it.
To make it more clear, here I have picked up certain sayings from different religions containing the same essential meaning. The most simplest way to demonstrate it.

NATIVE AMERICAN FAITH- The light of WakanTanka is upon my people. from the song of kablaya.
CHRISTIANITY- I have come into the world as Light. from Holy Bible
BUDDHISM- The radiance of Buddha shines ceaselessly. from Dhammapada
ISLAM- Allah is the light of the heaven and earth. from Koran.
SIKKHISM- God being truth is the one light of all. from Adi Granth
TAOISM- Follow the light, the sage takes care of all. from Lao Tsu
HINDUISM- In the effulgent lotus of the heart dwells Brahma- the light of lights. from Upanishad

This makes it very clear that "God is Universal Light". Understand it and you shall realize it.
Throw away the skin of religions and see inside the sweet fruit of spirituality given to you by your religion.
"Even you posses the special light, its in you too. When you realize whats you? Your light shall merge with the Universal light................ which is our purpose in life"

To explain God isn't difficult, rather impossible. But I have tried my best to put in most simplest way. Such there are many questions and mystries about the universe................... like questions asked in this blog.( Isn't there a purpose to life? Whats the soul? Doest it manifest? Do we reincarnate? If we don't what happens to us after we die? Does heaven and hell really exist?)

Most questions are realized often very late in the other state.
But when you realize the your true self, all questions are automatically answered.

"Awaken the light and let it Shine".

Purpose of Education

When I look back at my school days, I can finally relax, chill out and scream "Thank god, Maths is out of my life" From Vth std I slogged till the Xth just to solve out sums, which in no way has helped me out till today. But had given me mental pressure in school days for sure. The time I spent for solving out sums which i never took interest in, definitely could have been worth if I could read Shakespeare, Folktales, Literature or even Ethics which I love the most.
I always used to wonder in my childhood how is trignometry and Polynomials going to help me, when im simply going to add, subtract, divide and multiply, if i ever use Maths.
So is that I wasted all my time? Or always my rank went down bacause of Maths?
Or is it something wrong with the Education system, where students are forced to study what they dont require?
Its not my allergy for Mathematics thats making me write on this particular topic, but its my stuudents problems and my childhood friends issues, thats prompted me to think over it.
Education is not securing highest marks, being the first in class and finally after a year you dont remember what you studied. Education isn't a matter of percentage for Board exams, and a degree for job. Rather Education is the knowledge that you receive, treasure it with you and apply that knowledge in the right situation to make life better. Education's purpose is to let you realize the power of flight and teach you to fly.
Education should be liked, enjoyed, studied and revised. Education shouldn't force poor students to commit suicides. Education shouldn't pressurize students in life to earn but rather to learn.
We study not to earn but to learn.
When we are learned we become earned automatically.
It isnt necesarry to completely byheart the text book, but it is imporatnt to understand the contents of textbook and be able to explain it in simple language. Also to use that knowledge at right moments.
School and College lectures are bunked by students, not because they hate studies but most often the teachers dont make the lessons interesting. If the teacher teaches with care and concern , getting to level of maturity of students, then students will understand the lesson, develop an interest and so will respect the tecaher with love.
Let the teachers make subjects interesting.
In our education system, often the syllabus is sad and useless, compared to the other topics that should be covered and given priority.
Also the media is to be blamed, where television and films are directing the young minds on the wrong path, and corrupting their thoughts.
In Hinduism, Saraswati is the goddess of Knowledge. She is dressed in white symbolising purity, with a royal swan, which can seperate milk from water, potraying prudence beahviour. Saraswati is the wife of Brahma, who is god of creator and the creator should possses knowledge for the power od creating, therefore she is his consort.
In the same way, Education should be pure crystal clear, helping us to distinguish between correct and incorrect, and giving us the ability to create or use that knowledge for making life better.
Every year people only pass out......................... but do they really pass in life.
I spent lot of time with maths, but finally when i passed out with distinction, I took Arts, what I likeD the most and Im happy studying Sociology today.
But how many people do really study what they want to study, or just study forcibly what their parents want them to study?
How many of us take degrees to learn more, or earn more in life?
How many of us think of people and the world before choosing a carrer or subject in college?
Is Education serving its purpose?
I guess all are baffled in this circus going around, which people term as practical world. People choose to study what would give them status but not staisfaction, and give them big fat salaries but not happiness.
If education had served its purpose, then there wont be so many confused minds.
Gather knowledge because it sets you free. Study to be free birds on a tree.

To make something special just believe its special

Everyday is not the same, every moment is not the same, but when some one ask you how is life, we answer 'as usual'
No our life isn't everyday the same, we don't step in the same river twice. Because by then the time as well the course of river is changed.
But still we believe everyday is the same. Get up in morning, get ready, take the same bus or train, reach office on time, have the same lunch, return by same time home, watch television for few time, and then off to bed. Is really our daily course the same? Or do we make it sound like one!
Everyday isn't your Birthday to celebrate, everyday isn't a feast to treat, so what special to do. If this is the notion, then definitely life turns out to be the same.
But if we remove black glasses from our eyes, then we will have the vision to see a better day and a colourful world. Everyday doesn't need to have something special in store for you, but rather you can make it special store.
Get up with a new hope each day, take bath soaking the sun of joy, get ready with a spark of shine, walk with a style of confidence, wear a smile that's infectious, hear songs on cell that cherishes your journey, 'work is workship' follow it and you will see that it doesn't tire you, walk back home with the same smile, after all someone awaits home...................
So everyday is special if you just belive in it.
Every moment is important and special, because it will never come back.

And for the most important reason 'your'e special'

Henceforth, to make something special just believe its special
And your life will be special.

Joy.......... pepper and honey........ within or without

Joy....................... A simplistic emotion filled with bubbles of happiness. And we crave for this simply simplistic feeling. so what does joy gets us? Its not what we get from joy, in fact joy gets us life. Joy doesn't get us everything but even without getting anything, joy seems to make us smile. Joy isn't in something. Joy isn't in a film, Joy isn't in a dress, joy isn't in a party rather joy is a state of mind. Joy is when your mind is balanced, when you don't need anything, infact it is in each one of us. If you don't believe then just close your eyes for few moments and sit still with blank thoughts for five minutes. After that when you open your eyes, yet you find yourself smiling. What is this smile for? The joy is in you and smile is the expression of it. Joy makes life seem much more better and exciting. Joy is also in giving happiness to others. Joy is in seeing the rising sun. Joy is welcoming your friend after ages. Joy is in the smile you receive from the beggar on road, who read your eyes that you have nothing to give. Joy is in complementing your neighbor. Joy is in thanking your mother for the food she cooked. Joy is receiving a smile from a passer by and you smile back too. Then to wonder do 'i know that person?' Joy is in hearing the chirping of birds in early morning. Well if we actually look into our lives, Joy is in the most simplest things of life. And we are looking for it in most difficult things, thus making it seem complicated and remote. Little acts of kindness is joy too. It doesn't harm if you compliment some one, Thank someone, Share a joke and spread a smile. Joy is also the other side of kindness. Don't look for joy in things, don't run for it. God has made ourselves dipping in the honey of joy, so that we share and care. But we have forgotten that and consider the pepper used over us for garnishing the, main course itself. Go over the pepper of hardships to reach the joyful core of honey.
Look within and you will discover Joy in you.
