Thinking to fall in Love..........

When you know its not love, but it is something close to love.
That's a new phenomena, and most often evolved or ambitious people go through it.
It happens when you like someone, and decide to get committed to that person. You already know, that you don't love the person, yet you are aware that you can make things happen, and love will set in.
But does that always happen? Or does it even happen?
The opposite person, may be really nice to you. You like being with that person, and spending time together. But then though you spend time together, you don't always look forward for the meeting with excitement and new joy everyday.
Love is when, you're meeting the same person everyday, but every time there's a new excitement in meeting. Also, the topics of discussion, might be still the same, but every time you hear something new, this is when you're in love.
You like a person, but then it is your mind adjusting with it, and believing to be in Love. If love had to happen, then your heart would have already recognized the person, and you would have automatically fallen in love.
One doesn't need to think to fall in love, no body thinks about falling, but all of us accidentally fall at some or the other point of time in our life.

Though, Love is been often glorified in films and books. Its beauty is so amazing that one would not fail to recognize its love.

One doesn't need to use the mind to be in love, Love is effortless.

Drinking Coffee in Plastic cups at CCday

Whenever you're meeting your friend after a long time, or you just want to make your mood better, its often we end up going to Cafe coffee day.

I remember the last time i went before yesterday was just the last week. And always loved the mocha Delight, The dipped in Muffin, with spilling Chocolate Sauce and exotic taste ov Vanilla ice cream. Also the amazing touch of blue to the oatmeal, lattee. It all tasted so much good, especially when you look at it in the beautiful long glasses, and amazing mugs. Some crystal clean, some milky white. Indeed a lot can happen over a coffee.

But what happens when you want to make yourself feel better, and want to catch up with a friend at CCDay, and as usual order your favourite Cold Coffee, or Muffin, and they come with this Use and throw cups, plastic glasses, and paper plates.

All you do is stare at it, and wonder, Did I order this? And after careful observation you realize its your favourite drink but not anymore. I even dont think one would spend money from your wallet for your favourite coffee, frappe in a plastic glass (Atleast not me)

At the same time CCDay, had followed the earth hour, this month. I remember I was there at that evening and the candle night coffee has become an unforgetabble memory for me.

Its presenatation that matters. But not A birthay party snacks that amount for waste of plastic and paper. Also a huge amount of waste will be accumulated due to this so unclassy act. Image so many CCDay's and such a huge group of youngsters contributing to the waste for this city to handle. Even if they are recycled, it doesnt makes any difference. Imagine drinking your Favourite Coffee, with the swirl design or concentric shape design chocolate in a RECYCLED PLASTIC CUP/ GLASS. Why cant we return to those glasses and crockery again. Also its a good way for CCDay to cut out the Labour cost and salaries for employees engaged in cleaning this chatty.

CCDay is such a big chain, but they need to change to such frivilous Act to cut down labour cost or whatever they thought before implementing this change. I loved CCDay (ESpecially the small simple one on Caddel Road, Mahim) once upon a time, but not anymore.

So its bid farewell for CCDay from my side unless they restore it to the glasses and amazing crockery, which is presentable and makes me feel pleasant.

Pankh------- contemporary art on Silver Screen

Pankh- From Sanjay Gupta's Art House, is an amazing piece of contemporary art. Pankh is about Rebello who suffers from identity crisis as being playing the girl child character in bollywood industry. When he grows up, he finds it difficult to know himself and goes through identity crisis. Being teased by children from school, he could never finish his education. overall brought up in a family, where not a day was passed without fights or badwords. Lillete Dubey has justified her character with her charm and efforts. Rebello, is always left alone, and couldnt really mix with others. There he immerses himself into Drinking, Smoking and even doping.
And all that comes to his company, is his imagination Bipasaha.
Bipasha, is his fascination Nandini. But her existence, identity, is all a mystery. Bipasha's role is to help Rebello, to come out of his obstacles, face them with courage and inspire him. But does Rebello always listen to her?
Also when people discover, that Rebello, who want's to become an actor today, had played Baby Kusum in early age. The Girl who became instantly famous, wasn't a girl, but a guy, who is the reality Rebello today.
Rebello's fight for identity, affection from a childhood friend Salim, Craving for Motherly love, The mystery of Bipasha (Nandini) is Pankh.
Rebello's fight for survival and fly in the sky................. is Pankh.
What makes Pankh................... a great film is not a thing, but everthing about it.
The Cinematography is excellent, with artistic camera angles ans neon as well dark shades of light.
Lillete's acting is brave and realistic.
Background score as well the music is echoing.......... and you will yeearn for more of it.
Bipasha has got about seven to eight avatars, which are larger than life. She is stunning, vivacious and a diva. If i compare her whole life career, she has never been so stunning ever before. One would always want to see more of her on the screen.
Dialogues are very bold, realistic as well Bipasaha's lines are poetic, and imaginitive.
The film is short and very well shot. The Climax is artistically done, with a plethora of emotions, which makes it an edge of the seat performance.
The film is dark, brave............ and meant for people who like the cinema to be very different and have the capability to digest such a film.
My verdict is 4 stars.

Well Done Abba.................. A Must Watch

As there wasn’t real good publicity of this film, that could reveal its concept, One is blank while seeing the movie, and end up coming out from the theatre happy and delighted. Veteran Director, Shyam Benegal deserves a salute after Welcome to Sajjanpur, for making such films. Benegal has his own way of telling different but real stories with a touch of humour. Benegals films are always social issue based, but the way he puts it, is truly commendable.
Well Done Abba, is a story of Corruption in Indian Government, and how its killing the democracy in India. Booman Irani is a Driver in Mumbai, and is on one month leave, to fix his daughter, Minisha lamba’s Wedding in his village Chikatpally in Andhra Pradesh. There is sever water shortage in the village like many other villages of India, and how people are facing the crisis, is their story. This is Minisha Lamba’s best performance, so far. A role that many other actress would want to do. I’m not disclosing the secret of the films story, watch it to be on a funny ride. Shantanu Moitra’s music is indeed different as always. Its not the usual pop or bollywood, but a folk kind of music, that will surely make you fall in love with the lyrics as well. Ravi Kishen, Sonali Kulkarni have also given good shots. Ila Arun, is one whose entry on to screen every time, creates anticipation, for another rib tickling scene. A film is, well directed, scripted, enacted, good music, and finally a film thats different but will surely make you think as well make you laugh at the same time.
My verdict 4 stars

Alice In The Wonderland

We all have heard the Alice from Wonderland story in our childhood. But to this film there is a contemporary touch. Alice is been asked by a guy in front of the fraternity, but she isn’t sure about him. From childhood, she is been dreaming of Rabbits in Waist coats, Talking dogs, Blue Caterpillar, etc . Alice falls into the rabbit hole, and then there is a new land, what she calls it as Wonderland. The Wonderland in this film, is truly magnificent, A spectacular display of vivid imagination. Here the confusion is that the creatures, are unsure if this is the real Alice, for they have been waiting for years. According to the oracle, Alice will save the creatures of Wonderland, from the anarchy of Red Big Head Queen. Johhny Depp, is amazing in his hatter avatar, and has got stunning accent. Annie Hathway, plays the White Queen, who is so subtle, beautiful and white. Alice in Wonderland has got Stunning Sets, amazing Costumes, Loud Creative Makeup, and a wonderland to discover the child in you.
The film has got indeed good 3D. A worth watch in Imax.
My Verdict 3 stars.

The Great Indian Butterfly............ could have been better

The Great Indian Butterfly, the film for which i was waiting for past one year to release. Sarthak Dasguptas Directorial Debut and White Feather Films, Art Productions First film, is a story of a couple, who are on an exploration for a mythical butterfly, which could bring love, peace, luck and happiness. From the Urbanised Mumbai begins the journey of this couple, into the beauty of the Sahyadris. The film, moves on with just the journey of Amir Bashir and Sandhya Mridul. in this journey, rather then finding love all that they discover is differences, and misunderstanding. Sandhya, has given one of her best performances so far. She has got a very got dialogue delivery and realistic emotions. the Background score of the film is different and something that will definitely soothe your ears. Shibani Kashyap's Song "Thodi Thodi Sanjh" is extremely beautiful.
The question is "Is happiness, a Rare Insect or is it not real? Although the film is of 1 hour 40 minutes, yet the Climax is hurried. The climax is done well, but could have been extended. Also the songs in film are beautiful, yet are not fully picturised.
The Great Indian Butterfly is no wonder good film, but could have been great, if the story was well told.
My verdict 2.5 stars.
